Sister Lynne Gordon -ANP (f)

BSc, RN, ENP, Dip Diabetes, Asthma, Triage and COPD

Lynne works full time with our practice as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner this allows her to assess, diagnose and treat patients independently. She specialises in care of diabetes, asthma and heart disease  She is also trained in British Sign Language to level 2 standards.

Early morning nursing appointments are available from 7.30am Monday- Thursday.

Sister Pauline Cahill- Practice Nurse (f)

RN, Asthma & COPD Diploma & Diabetic diploma

Works part time with our practice. She offers health promotion and chronic disease management, and is trained in implanon insertion. Early morning appointments are available with both our Nurses.

Both our nurses are highly qualified and experienced clinicians. They specialise in diabetes, asthma, ischaemic heart disease, family planning, post natal care and travel medicine. They have appointments each day between 08:00 and 18:00 and operate a triage system in the mornings. If you wish to make an appointment to see one of the practice nurses, contact reception. As well as operating clinics for common complaints, they provide prevention care, such as cervical smears, family planning, and well woman and well man clinics. They also run asthma and diabetes clinics, which take place on a Wednesday afternoon. If you are planning to travel abroad and may need vaccinations and travel advice, our nurses will be able to help. There is no fee for this service other than an NHS prescription charge for vaccines. Each winter our nurses offer flu jabs to any patient who may be at risk of complications of influenza, such as over 65's and carers.
